How time flies! We launched AccessibilityMonitor in 2022, and we have been on an incredible journey since then. What began as a simple tool to help developers check their websites for accessibility issues has grown into a comprehensive platform serving hundreds of organizations worldwide.
We believe it is vital to build tools that make the web accessible because the digital world is becoming increasingly essential to daily life. Today, the internet offers almost limitless possibilities and opportunities, but this simultaneously creates barriers for millions of people with disabilities. Because accessibility testing and WCAG compliance often seem like technical and complex subjects for many people, we strive to make these topics as accessible and straightforward as possible,so they become understandable for everyone. After all, everyone deserves equal access to the web.
With the European Accessibility Act (EAA) coming into effect and full compliance required by 2030, more organizations than ever need reliable tools to monitor and improve their website accessibility. Why we care about web accessibility
